There’s a lot of noise in the fashion world fast trends, viral hauls, and clothes that barely survive three washes. And as a woman, a mother, a creator, I’ve been on both ends of it. I’ve bought those impulse pieces that fall apart after one wear, and I’ve also stood in front of a machine, watching fabric swirl and praying it holds together after another month of nursing and running after kids.

That’s part of why I started Rebel Afrika.
